School Development Plan
The School Development Plan is a strategic document that drives school improvement. This document brings together, in a clear and concise way what the school’s priorities are and how we will work towards achieving them.
At Harvey Road Primary School, we work collaboratively with senior leaders, governors, teachers, pupils and parents to determine what our key priorities will be. We follow a clear process to evaluate what areas of the school need to be further developed as well as the many areas of strength that we have. This process of self-evaluation ensures that the School Development Plan reflects our common goals and focuses us all on what we will be striving to achieve.
The document below is our current plan. It includes not only our key priorities for this academic year but also an extrapolation of priorities that we will have over the next 3 years.
The School Development Plan is reviewed by senior leaders and governors on a regular basis throughout the year. For this reason the School Development Plan is not set in stone. Rather, it is a flexible document, being adapted throughout the year dependent on the changing needs and priorities that we have as a school.
